Getting up early to watch the sun come up over beautiful Woorim Beach on Bribie Island is totally worth the effort. It inspired me to paint this small sketch with the intention of eventually painting a larger piece. But, I never did do a larger painting because I felt that the energy of the small sketch captured the fleeting moment of the sunrise perfectly.
