MIRAGE

Welcome to my Mirage series. Original inspiration for this series simply came from playing with paint. I love large quantities of paint in buckets that I feel I could dive into. So these painting started from dripping acrylic house paint in random patterns. As I refined them I realised that I could build up textures with the house paint, and then add beautiful colour combinations with artist quality acrylics over the top. So much fun to create these messy bursts of colour with as much paint on me and the studio as the canvas.
