Koi fish have intrigued and inspired for centuries. They have been called “living jewels” and “swimming flowers” for their physical beauty. They are also rich with symbolic significance, such as wealth, good luck and tenacity, as they swim up stream and even up waterfalls.
These paintings are created by dropping random splashes of red and orange ink onto a blank canvas, painting over completely with deep green and blue oil paint, then scraping and brushing the paint away to create the fish.
Some happy customer reviews and photos included.
