Another fish painting, this time I experimented with adding sea grass, using the same technique that I use with the fish. I painted a layer of grass first, using yellows, oranges and greens, then painted the usual layer of deep blues over the top. I then scraped away the blue paint with a rubber pallet knife to reveal the grass, and fish. I did need to add some highlights, but it worked quite well.
