Crinkle Cut is a dynamic abstract work centred around a bold diagonal sweep of fiery reds and oranges that cuts across the canvas. The intense central passage feels energetic and alive, drawing the eye immediately to its glowing core.

Surrounding this are cooler tones—teals, soft pinks, and pale, misty whites—applied in layered, textured strokes. The palette knife work gives the surface a fractured, tactile quality, adding depth and movement throughout.

There’s a strong sense of contrast between heat and coolness, density and lightness, creating a balanced yet powerful composition. Overall, the piece feels immersive and expressive, driven by colour, texture, and gesture rather than form.
